Tonya was the third kitten that Hissey brought to us. She is close to Domino’s weight of 20lbs. She is ONE BIG GIRL!
Tonya is a loner and doesn’t like the other cats around her. Gulf has probably been the only one that has been able to get close to her. It’s funny how she does not like the other cats but when one is sick she will stay close. For that, I call her my Nurse Cat. Before Jacob took sick she would have never gone near him, but as Jacob got older and became very sick and didn’t have much time left to live, she would lay beside him as if she was trying to comfort him.
If she comes to bed, she will sleep above my pillow with this soothing (Loud Purr). She stays until I fall asleep. When I wake up she is gone.
Tonya is very observant. One day I was sad and crying. I decided to lay down for a while. Tonya came over reached out her paw, so she could touch the tear running down my cheek. That’s my Tonya!
