Crinkles had these slanted eyes that led to her nose. Which made it look like she had a crease across her nose. Whenever I would look at her, I would see this crease. The closest thing I could think of was Crinkles French fries. If she walked in front of you. She always held her tail up with elegance and style, so that with her long fluffy hair it made her look like she was wearing pantaloons.
Crinkles was unique but very hard to work with. You could pet and hold her, but try anything else……and she becomes one insane cat!
She was eager to be petted. Whenever you would bring your hand down to pet her, she would raise herself with a great leap to meet your hand.
One of the most fascinating things about her was the fur around her neck. We started noticing how she would lose the thickness and length around her neck for spring and summer. When winter came and according to the severity of the winter, she would get this fur stole. The fur would get long and thick again. Crinkles became my Weather Cat.
