It has been a long time since I have posted. I just always seem so busy. Trying to learn how to do all this on a web page plus all my other commitments there is just not a lot of time to do this. My niece has helped me out but she also is busy with her family. I had so many plans and hints that might have helped others. We run an orphanage, (all the cats are orphans) 24-hour daycare and night care, and nursing home all wrapped up in one. I was looking forward to introducing you to the rest of the clan as well. Thank you so much to those that have looked at this web page. Many meows from the Stray Cat Bunch!
Mollie has left us
Mollie (Her profile is coming soon) left us with broken hearts. She died 01 July 2018. She had been going down for a while. A few years ago she was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. She took her medicine every day, but never really returned to her normal weight. She could only see shadows and was deaf. I shall miss her unique meow.
Cats loving it!
Finally Pen #3 up and functioning. Since the flood in Nov 2017, they have missed being able to go into Pen #3. About the 3rd week of June Tim got the new posts put into the ground and the deer fencing attached. All the cats say, “Good job Tim!” with a BIG THANK YOU MEOW!
New fencing arrival
The new fencing came in yesterday Feb 28th, 2018. It will be to rebuild our homemade pen #three, which was destroyed after the flood. Now we are waiting for warmer weather to arrive too.
Pen two repaired
We finally finished getting pen two up. The cats are so happy! We couldn’t do pen 3 because the weather was changing fast. You have to bury the bottom portion of the fence so that the cats can not dig to get out or anything dig to get in. Below are the photos of the finished pen.
Disaster Strikes
On November 5, a torrential rain destroyed and swept away our homemade cat fence. See the damage in the video below:
We have three separate cat pens. It destroyed two. We have one of the two repaired for winter.
